The Guelph Jr. B Regals will be entering the 2024 season with a bit of a different look.
The team unveiled its new jerseys this past Saturday at the “Meet the Team Pasta Dinner” hosted by the Guelph Optimist Club. The team was officially introduced in front of family, friends, and fans before players did their best waiter impressions serving dinner to the guests.
After dinner, Regals players Dylan Davey and Reid MacDonald put on the new jerseys to unveil to the crowd. Some notable differences on the new jerseys include a revamped crest logo, a lion’s claw on each sleeve, a new “GR” shoulder patch logo, and a claw mark on the back of the jersey behind the numbers.
The jerseys officially made their debut in a game at Victoria Road Arena in yesterday’s 10-7 victory over Wallaceburg. Fans will have a chance to catch them in action again this Friday, April 26 when the Welland Generals visit the Royal City.
